Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Temi collects, why it is needed, where it is processed, and the controls available to you. Temi has no advertising model and does not sell personal information.

1. Who we are

Temi: Rain or Shine (“Temi”, the “app”) is operated by Yumi Nexus (Wenxi Jiao), Auckland, New Zealand. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@yumi.nexus.

3. Information that stays on your device

  • Location. If you grant permission, Temi uses your current location only to centre the map while you choose a place. Precise coordinates are not uploaded or stored on our servers.
  • Reminders. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Temi does not operate a remote push-notification service for task reminders.

4. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain and synchronise your tasks, habits, schedules and mood records.
  • Authenticate your account and preserve your settings across devices.
  • Protect the service, investigate errors and prevent misuse.
  • Respond to support, privacy and account-deletion requests.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

5. Storage, disclosure and service providers

Your synced account and content are stored using Google Firebase services, currently on servers in the United States, and are protected in transit using TLS. We disclose information only to service providers acting on our behalf, where required by law, or with your direction.

When information is processed outside New Zealand, we take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the information and the service.

6. Retention and deletion

Your content remains in your account until you delete it or your account. Individual items can be deleted in the app. Settings → Account → Delete Account permanently deletes the Yumi account used by Temi and the content associated with it.

You may also request deletion by emailing support@yumi.nexus from your account address. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, subject to limited information we may need to retain for security, legal or dispute-resolution purposes.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask how it has been used or disclosed, or raise a privacy complaint. Contact us at support@yumi.nexus. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Children

Temi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Temi, our providers or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will always appear on this page. Material changes will also be communicated in the app or by another appropriate method.
